INDICATIONS
BLOCK EXTREME is recommended for horses suffering from chronic osteoarticular problems, reversibly blocking nerve fibers and eliminating pain in cases of myositis, muscle contractures, degenerative joint diseases, bursitis, synovitis and periostitis. 
 
DOSAGE
The amount recommended of BLOCK EXTREME depends on the nerve or area to block, as follows:
Digital nerves: 2 to 4 ml.
Palmar nerves: 3 to 5 ml. 
Common Fibular and Tibial nerves: 5 to 10 ml.
Dorsal or Intermetacarpal Periostitis: 5 to 8 ml.
Podotrochlear sac: 3 to 8 ml.
Intra-articular joint injections: 3 to 6 ml, depending on the joint space.
Intramuscular injections: according to the size of the treated area. For instance, each rump should be treated with approximately 50 ml, divided into about ten different points throughout the muscle.
These quantities refer to the solution already diluted to a concentration of 1% w/v Ammonium Chloride.
Recommended doses are a suggestion and may be adjusted according to professional criteria.
