INDICATIONS
CARBEGENTA contains Carbetocin, a long-acting analogue that acts on smooth muscle fibers, inducing and increasing their contractions. CARBEGENTA is indicated in the following situations: facilitating and inducing parturition, promoting uterine involution, milk ejection and expulsion of undesired or pathological uterine contents, such as retained placenta, free intra-luminal fluid or incomplete abortions, especially in cases of metritis or mastitis.
 
DOSAGE
Sheep and goats: 0,5 to 1,0 ml per animal (equivalent to 0,035 to 0,07 mg of Carbetocin).
Cows and horses: 2,5 to 5,0 ml per animal (equivalent to 0,175 to 0,35 mg of Carbetocin).
