INDICATIONS
RETARDOESTEROIDE contains Triamcinolone, a synthetic glucocorticoid that bears five times stronger anti-inflammatory activity than natural cortisol, recommended for animals suffering from non-infectious synovitis and osteoarthritis, reducing local pain and inflammation. 
 
DOSAGE
Administer 0,1 to 0,2 mg of Triamcinolone Acetonide per kg of body weight, in a single dose (equivalent to 0,05 to 0,1 ml per kg of body weight). Remission of clinical signs is usually achieved after 7 to 15 days. If symptoms reappear, one more injection can be administered.
Intra-articular or intra-synovial administration
Horses:
Administer 6 to 18 mg of Triamcinolone Acetonide per kg of body weight, in a single dose (equivalent to 3 to 9 ml per kg of body weight). If needed, one more injection can be administered after 3 to 4 days.
Dogs and cats:
Administer 1 to 3 mg of Triamcinolone 
Acetonide per kg of body weight, in a single dose (equivalent to 0,5 to 1,5 ml per kg of body weight). If needed, one more injection can be administered after 3 to 4 days.
